Antonio,(Tony, Anthony, "Meatball") Genovese

Antonio (Tony/Anthony/”Meatball”) Genovese, on February 25, 2018, age 87 of St. Mary’s Villa, formerly of Cherry Hill, NJ.  He was the beloved bachelor brother of Joseph and brother-in-law of Bonita.  Loving uncle of Tiffany, Christian (Jennifer), Hope (Eric), and Brian (Randi).  Special grand uncle of nephews Dylan Mitchell, Remy Joseph, Casey Vegas, Lucas Chase, the late Keenan Lucero, and niece Carmina Felicia.  He forever shared a piece of his heart for all those who knew him and a special spot for his boyhood buddies and his cherished neighbors on New Hampshire Ave. His loves of life included music, genealogy, all things Italian, photography, sports, and health & exercise.  He will be achingly missed by all.  The family is forever grateful to St. Mary’s Villa for the outstanding care and love by staff and residents.  “Arrivederci Antonio” 

Relatives and Friends of the family will meet for his viewing and funeral on Saturday morning, March 10, 2018 from 10:00am to 11:15am in The Catholic Community Of Christ Our Light Church, 402 North Kings Hwy., Cherry Hill, NJ 08034. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 11:30am.  Interment will follow at New St. Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr, NJ 08031.  It was Tony's wish to have no flowers  and for donations to be made to the Carmel H.S.
