Alfredito Fuentes De Guzman, a resident of Blackwood, NJ, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 31, 2019 with family surrounding him, including his older brother, Kuya Dodong (Cesar). He was 57 years old.
Born in Manila, Philippines, he was called Manoy Nene by those who knew him well. He was raised by his maternal grandparents, aunts, and uncles in the town of Calatrava, a province of Negros Occidental, Philippines.
He received a degree in electronics engineering from the University of Santo Tomas in Manila.
Listening to music was one of his favorite pastimes. He also enjoyed bonding with his friends and family, especially during the holiday gatherings. Though he was a quiet man, Manoy Nene was unselfish, thoughtful, and helpful to others.
In addition to his brother, Manoy Nene is survived by his nieces, (Mitchelle, Angelica, Czarina), nephews (Angelo, Cedie), as well as those numerous aunts and uncles who raised him, cousins, and girlfriend, Selma.
Relatives and friends of the family will meet for his viewing and funeral on Saturday afternoon September 7th from 3:00pm to 5:00pm at the BOCCO FUNERAL HOME, 1300 North Kings Hwy., Cherry Hill, NJ. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday evening September 7th at 5:00pm in the funeral home.
