EMELDA FERRERAS SIMBULAN, passed away on February 14, 2019 at the age of 77. Originally from Lopez, Quezon, Philippines, she has been residing in Woodside, Queens and South Jersey for the past 25 years. Loving wife to Medardo Simbulan for 52 rich and wonderful years, and a dear mother to Darcy Simbulan (Jose Reyes), Antonio Simbulan (Cherry Delfin), and Arlene Simbulan (Christopher Yu). A loving daughter to Bonifacio Ferreras and Edelberta Agot Ferreras and a doting sister to: Nolito Ferreras, Sr., Rolenda F. Tiangco, Lucita Ferreras, Maria Corazon Ferreras, Salome Lanas and Lordnaldo Ferreras. Survived by her 8 grandchildren: Chelsea Reyes, Caitlin Reyes, Chyanne Reyes, Rafael Simbulan, Clarisse Simbulan, Charles Yu, William Yu, and Chloe Yu. She was a prayerful and devoted Catholic. A well-loved public high school teacher in the Philippines. Emelda will forever be remembered by her joyous laughter and inimitable spirit.
Relatives and friends of the family will meet for her viewings on Sunday evening, February 17th, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm in the BOCCO FUNERAL HOME, 1300 North Kings Hwy., Cherry Hill, NJ and Tuesday morning, February 19th 9:00am to 11:00am at The Catholic Community of Christ Our Light Church, 402 North Kings Hwy., Cherry Hill, NJ. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00am Tuesday. There will be no viewings or funeral services on Monday. Entombment Lakeview Memorial Park Mausoleum, Cinnaminson, NJ.
