Lillian Carmella Graber (nee Bocco), age 83, of Washington Twp., N.J., passed away peacefully on August 17, 2021. Lillian was born and raised in Camden, N.J. She was happily married to the love of her life, Howard, for 52 years, until his passing. She was the mother of 6 children, 19 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
Lillian was a member of the Wedgwood Women’s Club for 52 years, the Red Hat Society, and WHO (Women Helping Others). She was an active member of Sts. Peter and Paul Church, Turnersville, N.J. She worked part-time at Macys for many years, where she spent more money than she made. Lillian was an integral part in all her children's many activities; member of the PTA, Room Mother, Indian Guide, Brownie and Girl Scout Leader. Her life was devoted to her family.
There was nothing Lillian loved more than quality time spent with family and friends over a cup of coffee and a piece of cake. She was a people person: always willing to help anyone, talk to everyone, and instantly made lifelong friends anywhere she went after one conversation. She welcomed all into her home, where food was abundant and the key ingredient was love. She enjoyed spending time at the beach, traveling, long car rides, any social event, making crafts, and cooking. She will be remembered by her infectious smile, sharp wit, kind and compassionate spirit.
