Stephanie Allocco

Stephanie Allocco of Mt. Laurel, NJ age 42, passed away on February 9, 2021 surrounded by many loved ones. Stephanie spent her childhood years living in Sayreville, NJ and attending school where her mother Florence was a beloved teacher. She went on to attend college at Rowan University where she was a standout athlete excelling in Softball, soccer, basketball and even playing one year of lacrosse. Steph was inducted into the Rowan University Hall of Fame in 2009. Stephanie continued her love of sports when she decided to coach the freshman soccer team at Moorestown High School. She served as the head freshman coach for 21 seasons and assisted with the Varsity program. In addition to soccer, Steph also served as the Moorestown High School JV and Freshman softball coach until 2015 when she took on the role as assistant coach of the women’s softball team at Stockton University. Steph loved life, she was passionate about coaching, enjoyed watching sports, shopping, cooking, and spending time with friends and her beloved dog, Dash. Stephanie is pre-deceased by her mother and father, Florence and Salvatore Allocco. She will be deeply missed by many aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as her Rowan, Moorestown and Stockton families. The Nicolai family will forever hold Stephanie in their hearts as she became an adopted member of their family.

Relatives and friends will meet for her viewing on Sunday evening from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at the BOCCO FUNERAL HOME, 1300 North Kings Hwy., Cherry Hill, NJ.  Due to current state regulations on public gatherings, occupancy will be limited. We respectfully ask that you promptly exit the funeral home after paying your respects; this will allow other people the same opportunity. In-person Funeral Services are private but will be livestreamed to the Bocco Funeral Home Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/pages/category/Funeral-Service---Cemetery/Bocco-Funeral-Home-160867953936518/) on Monday morning beginning at 10:00am.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Associated Humane Societies & Popcorn Park Zoo (https://www.ahscares.org/ContentPage/2936).
