Anita Alvarado Mazo, affectionately known as Granny and Mommy, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 17, 2016 in the Samaritan Hospice in Virtua Hospital in New Jersey at the age of 92 while surrounded by family.  She was born on July 25, 1923 in Leyte, Philippines to Santiago Alvarado and Felomina Montalban.  She lived life to the fullest traveling, dancing, and spending time with family and friends.   She is survived by two brothers Felix and Nori and her sister Pat Rachel ; her children - Cynthia, Sandra, Arturo, and Ollie; her grandchildren - Erich, Abigail, Arthur, Steven, Jenna, and Miles; and her great-grandchildren - Daniel, Aidan, Carina, Isabelle, Eliot, and Adam.  Services will be held in California.
