Anthony “Tony" Poblador on October 15, 2026 age 61 of Cherry Hill, NJ. Beloved husband of Lilia Cuenca. Cherished father of AJ, Carolyn, Lianne Poblador, John, Brandon, and Abbie Gaviola. Loving grandfather of Jonah Poblador. Owner of his beloved dog Carson and, his many Chicks. Endeared son of Clementina Yulo and the late Ray Poblador. Beloved brothers of Tina Francesco, Josue, Ray and the late Marjorie Poblador.
Toby was originally selected first overall in the 1986 PBA Draft but wanted to first finish his studies at La Salle University, graduating with his bachelor’s degree in Business & Economics. He returned to the PBA in 1991, winning the championship with Ginebra San Miguel.
Toby decided to pursue the American dream right afterwards, migrating to the United States in 1993. He built a career as a financial advisor from New York and also became a public adjuster and a Medicare advocate. He was well loved and respected by the community. Even through his struggles, he remained strong in his faith and devoted to his family. We hope his memory remains a symbol of strength and resilience.
