Obituary

Brendan Casuscelli, age 23, of Cherry Hill, New Jersey, passed away on October 15, 2026.

Brendan was the beloved son of Dave and Stephanie (née Alburger) Casuscelli and the dear brother of Ian Casuscelli. He was the cherished grandson of Bill Alburger and the late Sandi Alburger, step-grandson of Lauren Alburger, and grandson of Louis Casuscelli and the late Phyllis Casuscelli. He was the nephew of Rindy Brown and Satya Ferreira, and the cousin of Rindy’s children, Sarah and Gryphon Brown. Brendan is also survived by his great-aunt Betty and uncle Ralph Harker and their son, Scott Harker, and his great-aunt Teresa Macksey and her daughters, Libby and Jennifer Macksey, as well as extended family and many dear friends whose lives he touched.

Brendan graduated from Cherry Hill High School East in 2021 and went on to earn his electrician certification from Pennco Tech. He soon found work in his field as an electrical installer and, for the past year, worked as a petroleum inspector for AMSPEC.

Brendan immensely enjoyed the outdoors, including camping, kayaking, and driving his lifted Jeep deep into the Pine Barrens to find quiet places where he could make bonfires and chase sunsets, often sharing those adventures with his friends. He also loved urban exploring and finding beauty in forgotten places. Brendan cherished all living creatures, especially his cats. Fiercely intelligent and unyieldingly driven, he had a sharp wit, a memorable smile, and a laugh that will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Thursday, October 29, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. at BOCCO FUNERAL HOME, 1300 North Kings Hwy., Cherry Hill, NJ. A memorial service will follow at 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers contributions in Brendan’s memory to National Alliance on Mental Illness (https://www.nami.org/personal-giving/).
