Daniel Wilson Baskin, of Medford, NJ, passed away on October 15, 2026 at the age of 83.

He was the son of the late Laura and Daniel Baskin. He is survived by Joyce Baskin (nee Tirro), his wife of 57 years; his daughter, Jennifer (Henry) Wobbe; his grandchildren, Catherine Wobbe (Thomas Monaghan) of Medford, NJ, and Zach Wobbe of Vincentown, NJ; his two great-grandchildren, Olivia and Eloise; his brothers and dear friends, Brian (Constance) and Kevin (Marion) Baskin; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Dan was raised in Bellmawr Park, NJ, where he and his buddies spent their days climbing trees. He loved to share stories of boyhood as it used to be. He attended Rutgers University and graduated from Rider College. His career at RCA began as a messenger and soon grew into a career in two-way radio sales, which led to his becoming a pioneer in cellular technology.

Dan loved fishing, hunting, reading, and classical music.

Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Monday, October 19, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the BOCCO FUNERAL HOME, 1300 North Kings Highway, Cherry Hill, NJ, where his funeral service will begin at 12:00 noon. Interment will follow at Colestown Cemetery in Cherry Hill.
