Efren Dilan Panis, age 66, of Cherry Hill, New Jersey, passed away on October 14, 2026.

He was a beloved brother to Erlinda (Juanito) Adarna, Jose (Veronica) Panis, Romeo (Judith) Panis, Jaime (Mercedes) Panis, Cezar (Patria) Panis, Helen (Rodrigo) Yares, Elvie (Michael) Rilloraza, Sonia (Salvador) Olarte, and Rudy (Erma) Panis. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Born in the Philippines, Efren was a quiet but hardworking man who showed his love through his actions. He was always willing to lend a helping hand around the house and took care of those around him through the meals he cooked and the things he did for his family. Though he may not have always expressed his love through words, he showed it in the many ways he was there for the people he loved.

Efren found joy in spending time with his siblings, especially playing mahjong together and sharing in the laughter and memories that came with it. At family gatherings and parties, he had a different side that everyone loved to see. Known affectionately as the “Cha Cha King,” he enjoyed getting on the dance floor and bringing his own special energy to every celebration. These moments, along with his quiet generosity and hardworking spirit, are memories his family will forever hold close to their hearts.

Efren will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew and loved him. Though he may be gone, the love he shared, the memories he created, and the joy he brought to family gatherings will live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Bocco Funeral Home, 1300 North Kings Highway, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034. Funeral services will be held at 5:00 PM Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
