Obituary

Maureen Ann Lee (née Meehan) passed away peacefully on November 2, 2025, at the age of 80. Born in Camden, New Jersey, Maureen was the beloved daughter of the late Raymond Patrick and Gertrude Catherine Meehan. She attended St. Joseph's Pro-Cathedral School and graduated from Camden Catholic High School.

Maureen met the love of her life, Robert E. Lee, Jr., at a St. Patrick's Day dance in 1965. They were married on April 8, 1967, at St. Joseph's Pro-Cathedral, beginning a beautiful life together built on love, laughter, and devotion to family.

She is predeceased by her parents, Raymond and Gertrude Meehan, and her sisters, Patricia Reynolds and Kathleen Kuniega.

Maureen is survived by her husband of 58 years, Robert E. Lee, Jr., and their four children: Robert E. (Veronica) Lee III, Maureen Lee, Raymond (Ruth) Lee, and Matthew (Ashley) Lee. She is also survived by her brother Raymond (Joanne) Meehan.

A proud and loving grandmother, Maureen found great joy in her eleven grandchildren: Brynn, Robert, Allison, Matthew, Christian, Declan, Liam, Shane, Meara, Gavin, and Sullivan.

Maureen was deeply involved in her children's lives and her community. She served as a homeroom mother, PTA President, and President of the Richboro Swim Team Parents Association. She organized swim meets, chauffeured countless practices and games, cared lovingly for her mother, and stood firmly by her friends and family—always their fiercest supporter and advocate.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Saturday morning, November 8th, from 9:30AM to 10:30AM at BOCCO FUNERAL HOME, 1300 North Kings Highway, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.
