Our Beloved Mother

Sen Thi Trinh Kama Tang Qiu Zhoma 1944 – 2017

Our beloved mother, Sen Thi Trinh of Moorestown, NJ and beloved wife of the late Vi Huynh, left us to be with Buddha on Sunday, April 9, 2017 at the age of 72. Born in Vietnam, she immigrated as a refugee to the US with her husband and four children in the early 1980's. She lived in Philadelphia, PA managing several businesses until she retired.

Our beloved mother enjoyed crocheting, going to the gym and volunteering. She crocheted hats while undergoing chemotherapy treatment and donated them to cancer patients. She volunteered her time grooming and providing manicures to elderly residents at nursing homes. She travelled to Vietnam and India where she spent her time helping the poor. She used her resources to feed, clothe, shelter, and educate the poor in Vietnam and India. She recruited families and friends to join in her efforts to do the same.

Our beloved mother was a devoted Buddhist who practiced compassion and kindness with everyone she met. Her strong work ethic, honesty and kind nature won the hearts of all. She helped anyone even those who mistreated and wronged her. She was always kind, thoughtful and considerate of others putting the needs of others before hers. Days before her passing, our dearest mother entered monkhood with the guidance and blessings from Lama Tsultrim of the Karma Thegsum Choling – NJ Temple and was given the name Kama Tang Qiu Zhoma.

Our beloved mother was the matriarch of the family. She was loved and will be missed by her siblings, children, nine grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at the Bocco Funeral Home, located at 1300 N. Kings Hwy, Cherry Hill, NJ. Buddhist prayer will start at 10am with Viewing service at 11:30am. We will then leave at 1:30pm to the crematory. Our beloved mother requested no flowers nor gifts be made. Thank you.
