Thomas C. D'Alessandro on May 12, 2022, age 95 of Cherry Hill, NJ. Beloved husband of the late Genevieve "Chic" T. D'Alessandro (nee Lafferty).  Dear father of Janet (C. James) Phipps and Thomas M. (Nancy) D'Alessandro. Cherished grandfather of Nicole Phipps, Danielle (Shawn) Green, Thomas (Dr. Maria Baldasare MD, FACC, FSCAI) D'Alessandro and Christina (Scott) Warner.  Loving great-grandfather of Dantae, Julien, Aryana, Scotty III, Zackary, Lilly and Nicholas.

Born in 1926, Tom was raised in Philadelphia PA by his parents Thomas and Rose D'Alessandro. As a young teenager, He enlisted to serve in WWII as a Navy electrician's mate from 1944 to 1946. While aboard the destroyer 678 (USS Mcgowan,) he earned several ribbons: Pacific Theater Ribbon (4 Stars,) American Theater Ribbon, Victory Medal & Philippine Liberation Ribbon (1 Star.) On his return from the service, Tom began his career in Photogravure, pre-press & printing industry. He was nicknamed "Doc" by his last employer due to his technical/managerial capacity to fix or solve any occurring operational problems.

He married his beloved wife Genevieve in 1952. Hobbies, interests and talents included amateur radio, golf, fishing, sailing, painting, wine making, home renovation & photography. His primary love was saved for his family, who will all miss him dearly.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Caroline and his wife Genevieve.

Relatives and friends of the family will meet for his viewing on Thursday morning from 8:30am to 10:00am in the BOCCO FUNERAL HOME, 1300 North Kings Hwy., Cherry Hill, NJ.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:30am at The Catholic Community Of Christ Our Light Church, 402 North Kings Hwy., Cherry Hill, NJ. Interment Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson, NJ. In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorial contributions to Malvern Retreat House, St. Joseph's in the Hills, PO Box 315, Malvern, PA 19355-0315.
