Alice Marie Bocco (née Fansler), age 93, of Lindenwold, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on June 28, 2025. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Alice met and married the love of her life, John J. Bocco Jr. The two shared a beautiful partnership that spanned 53 years until his passing in 2011. Together, they raised a lively and loving family of five children, and Alice was also a proud grandmother of four and great-grandmother to ten.
Alice brought a special blend of practical wisdom and spiritual insight to everyone she met—always wrapped in a warm smile and delivered with kindness. She taught her family how to live with purpose, to find laughter even in life’s challenges, and to practice forgiveness, even when it wasn’t easy.
In addition to being a devoted wife and mother, Alice worked alongside her husband behind the scenes to help run his barbershop, handling the daily operations with grace and dedication.
She is lovingly remembered as the beloved wife of the late John J. Bocco Jr., and the cherished mother of Patricia (William) Hlopak, Kenneth Bocco, Paula (the late Donald) Hudson, Anthony Bocco, and Steven Bocco.
