(nee Hirshorn) Barbara J. Cecero, on November 13, 2023 age 89, of Oaklyn, NJ. Beloved wife of the late Arthur M. Cecero, Sr. (“Tony Diamond”). Dear mother of Arthur M. (Kim) Cecero, Jr., Christine (T. Leonard) Probe, Jackie (Anthony) Parisi. Loving grandmother of Barbie (Robert) Kristman, Mariesa Cecero, Carly Cecero, Jesse Cecero, Jon Probe, Jennifer (Fabio) Visconti, Lauren Parisi, Julianna Parisi, Christina Parisi and the late Arthur M. Cecero, III; great-grandmother of Juliette, Angelena, Antoinette, London, Tristan and Jaden.
Barbara was always sharing funny and emotional pieces of her life. She lost her mother as a little girl. She would wait by the window hoping her mom would come home. Her love story started when she was at a dance at St. Anthony of Padua, Camden, NJ and saw her future husband, Arthur. She said to her friend, "I'm going to marry him." They went on to become young parents to her first son Artie and eventually her two daughters Christine and Jackie and would build a successful produce business, Tony Diamond's Farm Market. In between she suffered the loss of three babies, then her first grandson, Artie III was born. In that moment, he filled her broken heart. Their bond was undeniable. She would eventually have 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and create many good times and memories. She was always singing songs such as "Went to the Country Fair" and many more. She made the best Easter bread and pizza and her French toast was amazing because it was made with love. Mom, grandmom, great grandmom, your family and friends especially your mom and dad, babies, beloved husband and grandson, Artie III have been waiting for you to come home and now you can rest in peace with them. Those who are loved may pass, but love hath no end.
