Bette Lee MacDonald

Bette Lee MacDonald, on February 26, 2025, age 61 of Williamstown, NJ, formerly of Clayton, NJ.  Beloved partner of Rick Hains.  Dear step-mom of Erin (Jordan) Boone.  Loving Nonni of Jordyn, Kaydyn and Holdyn.  Cherished sister of Jeanne (Paul) Lynch, Jack (Nancy) MacDonald and Dorothy (Michael) McLane. Loving aunt of Andrew (Nicole Furina) Lynch, Rebecca (Shawn) Naugle, Emily (Kara) MacDonald, Mark (Katie) MacDonald and Liam McLane; grand aunt of Kiersten, Ethan and Damian.  Also survived by her beloved dog Tavish.

Bette had a way of making everyone feel like family, she welcomed all with open arms, especially children. She was a woman who loved deeply and gave freely, never expecting anything in return. Bette was a proud woman of Scottish heritage and the Mac Donald name. She had a deep love for Scottish traditions, food, games and bag pipes. The world has lost a bright and gentle soul, but the love, laughter and kindness that Bette shared will live on in the hearts of many.

Relatives and friends will meet for the visitation and memorial service on Saturday morning, March 8th, from 10:00AM to 11:00AM at BOCCO FUNERAL HOME, 1300 North Kings Hwy., Cherry Hill, NJ 08034. Memorial services will be conducted Saturday at 11:00AM in the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, the family prefers contributions in Bette Lee’s memory to Gloucester County Animal Shelter, 1200 N Delsea Drive, Clayton, NJ 08312 856-881-2828, or any animal shelter of your choice.
