Dolores Mary Joyce

Our dear mother, Dolores Mary Joyce (nee Gallagher), age 90 of Cherry Hill, sadly passed away peacefully at home on September 14, 2023. Beloved mother of Sherry (David) Gaw, Debbie Joyce, Jinny Joyce and James (Terri) Joyce, Jr. Grandmother of James Joyce III, Sean (deceased), Ryan and Tyler Gaw, Renee Childers, Michele Cheaney and Kim Raymond.  Daughter of Joseph and Florence Gallagher (both deceased).  Sister of Joanne Pasquale and John Gallagher (deceased).  Former wife of James E. Joyce (deceased).  Also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Dolores grew up in Philadelphia, PA and graduated from West Catholic H.S. in 1950. Soon after high school, Dolores married Jimmy Joyce and raised four children. Dolores then went on to work after they were grown.  She was the former owner of Cherry Motor Vehicle for many years. Afterwards, she became Tax Collector and Treasurer for Gloucester Twp., NJ for over 20 years before retiring.  During retirement, she enjoyed many years being with her children and grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Thursday morning, September 21st, from 11:00am to 12:00-Noon , followed by a Celebration of Life service at 12:00-Noon all at the BOCCO FUNERAL HOME, 1300 North Kings Hwy., Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.
