Doris M Lappin

Doris M. Lappin (nee Beasley), passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 3, 2023 at 92 years of age. She was a longtime, active resident of Cherry Hill, NJ. Beloved wife of 68 years to the late Joseph A. Lappin Jr. Loving mother of Sharon J. Stoner (Mike), Anne M. Lappin, Joseph A. Lappin III (Susan) and Margaret M. Stezzi.  Loving Nanny of Jennifer Dovan (Kevin), the late Bryce Lappin, Raymond C. Orth, Megan Scudder (Will), Lauren A. Orth, Michael J. Stoner (Natalie), Carly Lappin (Steve), the late Joseph Andrew Lappin IV and Dylan Joseph Stezzi; Affectionate Granny of Reed, Blake and Skylar Dovan, William III and Brooke Scudder, Marin and Clara Lappin, and Sebastian and Mack Stoner. Cherished sister of Jayne Monaco (Mario) and sister-in-law of Joanne Arnold (Andy).
Doris started her career as a legal secretary then later prided herself as a full time mother. She was an avid reader, loved knitting, gardening and cherished her family times, especially at Christmas. She was the family’s heart and glue.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather for her visitation on Thursday morning, September 14th, 2023 from 11:00AM to 12:00-Noon followed by the Funeral Mass at 12:00-Noon all at The Catholic Community of Christ Our Light Church, 402 North Kings Hwy., Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.  In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions to Michael J.
