There are two dates that are listed on a tombstone. The date of birth and the date of death, but neither date matters. What matters is the life that was lived between those dates. The love that was given and the tears that were shed and the laughs that were heard and the hugs that were felt. What matters are the times that were good and bad. What matters are the friendships that were made and lasted through the years. It was the jokes that were told as well as the secrets that were kept. What matters is that life that was lived between those two dates and the people that had a better life by being a part of my life.
