It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Forrest Worrell, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, who left us peacefully on June 19, 2024, at the age of 66. Forrest’s life was a testament to the power of love, hard work, and dedication to family and community.
Born on October 1, 1957, in Mount Ephraim, New Jersey, Forrest grew up with an innate curiosity and a talent for fixing and building. This gift served him well throughout his life, from his early days tinkering to his later years, where he built and ran his own dental laboratory for 39 years. He also became the go-to handyman for anyone in need. Forrest's skill and ingenuity knew no bounds, whether he was repairing a neighbor’s broken fence, fixing his children’s homes, or lending a helping hand for his loved ones.
Forrest’s life was defined by his deep love for his family. He married the love of his life, Kathy, in 1980, and together they built a home filled with warmth, laughter, and countless cherished memories. Forrest was a devoted father to his two children, Phillip and Theresa, and a doting grandfather to his two grandchildren, Timothy and Matthew. His love also extended to the countless pugs he and Kathy rescued and loved over the years. His family was his greatest pride and joy, and he took immense pleasure in their achievements and happiness.
A man of few words but many actions, Forrest’s kindness and generosity touched the lives of everyone around him. He had a unique ability to make people feel valued and supported, always ready with a helping hand or a word of encouragement. His neighbors and friends could always count on him, knowing that Forrest's presence meant reliability, compassion, and a spirit of community.
Forrest’s legacy is one of love, hard work, and selflessness. He leaves behind his loving wife Kathy, his son Phillip (Alyssa) and daughter, Theresa, his grandchildren Timothy and Matthew, his siblings, and a wide circle of family and friends who will miss his unwavering support and quick witted humor.
