George J. Fletcher
Obituary
George J. Fletcher, age 86, passed away peacefully at home on February 4, 2023. He was born on September 15, 1936 to the late Anna Bayes Fletcher and Charles Fletcher. He is survived by his children Lori (Kevin) Riddle, George (Lorraine) Fletcher, Stacy (Dennis) Sokolov, Christy (Michael) DiPaolo, Dara (Paul) Block, and their mother, Virginia Fletcher. Longtime companion of Dawn Husted and her daughter, Stacey (Rocco) Colabella. He is also survived by many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.
George proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He was an avid pilot, passionate boater and fisherman.
Relatives and friends will gather for his graveside service on Wednesday, February 8 at 10 AM at Sunset Memorial Park, Huntingdon Valley, PA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in George’s memory to Samaritan Life-Enhancing Care at Samaritan Gift Processing Center, PO Box 71425, Philadelphia, PA 19176-1425 (https://samaritannj.org/).
