Howard Weinstein Obituary

Howard Weinstein, 61, of Cherry Hill, NJ passed away on September 4, 2025.

Howard was born in Philadelphia on August 8, 1964 (8x8=64) to the late Dorothy (nee Ball) and Jared Weinstein. He resided in Cherry Hill for the majority of his life, and was a 1982 graduate of Cherry Hill East High School. Howard also attended Rutgers University Camden, where he was a member of the Kappa Sigma Upsilon fraternity.

A love for music (but not Journey), and a passion for the record industry was a vital part of his upbringing, as his father was the owner and founder of the Record Museum. Howard, along with his brother Scott, would go on to own DoubleU Inc.

In addition to music (with the exception of Journey), Howard loved the New York Mets, Chinese food, Bugs Bunny, The Three Stooges, playing the lottery, and especially his friends and family.

Howard is survived by his sister and brother-in-law Lisa and Michael Coppola, his brother Scott Weinstein; nieces and nephews Sarah Balmos (Andrew), Adam Coppola (Taylor), Daniel Coppola, Isabella Weinstein, and Sebastian Weinstein; great- nieces and nephews Henry, Lydia, Bennett, Juliana, Salvatore, and Addison; his KAZOO brothers, and many other friends and family, who love and miss him dearly.

Services will be held on Wednesday afternoon, September 10, 2025 at 1:00PM at Crescent Memorial Park in Pennsauken, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Abbie Hunt Bryce Home in Indianapolis, IN through their website: https://www.morninglightinc.org . The care Howard received there and with Transitions Hospice was an absolute blessing in his final days.
