Joyce Connor

On December 6, 2022, Joyce Connor, of Cherry Hill, NJ, passed suddenly.  Joyce was the beloved mother of Bridgette Spera (Robert) and the late Derryck Connor, adored sister of Carol Dennis and her late siblings Joseph and Gene Connor, loving grandmother of  Dante, Desiree (Kurt) and Brittany (Scott), and cherished great grandmother of Savannah, Christian, Aundraya, Cameron and Benjamin.  Joyce is also survived by numerous relatives, lifelong companions, and many friends.

Joyce was a strong, compassionate woman who did things her way (just like the song Frank Sinatra sang).  Joyce loved, laughed, and each step of the way, she lived her life resiliently to identify opportunities that enabled her family to thrive.  To Joyce, family was everything. She also had a deep love of animals. Nothing brought joy to Joyce more than reading a good book, or, her favorite, having the entire family over on Sunday for dinner to play cards, watch whatever game (preferably football or tennis); hopefully win money from the wagers made during the day all at the same time. Joyce truly did it her way; she will be deeply missed by all that knew her.

Relatives and friends of the family will meet for the visitation and funeral Mass on Wednesday morning from 10:00am to 10:45am at Christ The King R.C Church, 200 Windsor Ave, Haddonfield, NJ. 08033.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00am Wednesday morning. Arr. by BOCCO FUNERAL HOME, Cherry Hill.
