Marie Alice Zegrino

(nee Sabolis) Marie Alice Zegrino, age 81 of Mount Laurel, NJ, formerly of Woodlynne, NJ passed away on November 30, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, resilience, and devotion to her family. She was a beloved mother, sister, mom-mom, and aunt, preceded in death by her husband, John Steven Zegrino, and her eldest son, David Anthony Zegrino.

Marie's life was defined by her unwavering strength and deep love for her family. Despite experiencing the profound loss of her young son David at the age of four, she demonstrated extraordinary courage and continued to nurture and cherish her loved ones. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she embraced them with boundless affection.

She is survived by her brother Anthony Sabolis, her daughters Deanne Shreve (husband Robert Shreve) and Danielle Sochor (husband Robert Sochor), as well as her grandchildren: Robert John Shreve, Robert David Sochor, Brendan Daniel Sochor, and Ava Colette Sochor.

Marie will be remembered for her infectious smile, beauty, both inside and out, and her remarkable ability to find joy and purpose even in the face of great personal tragedy. Her memory will be treasured by all who knew her.

Relatives and friends of the family will meet for her visitation from 8:30AM to 10:00AM on Thursday morning, December 5th at the BOCCO FUNERAL HOME, 1300, North Kings Hwy., Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00AM Thursday morning at St. Isaac Jogues R.C. Church, 349 Evesboro-Medford Rd., Marlton, NJ. Interment New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr, NJ.
