Maryann L. LaMarra (nee Anyzek) on February 15, 2025 age 84 of Cherry Hill, NJ.  Beloved wife of the late Rocco D. LaMarra. Dear mother of Roxann Selvoski, Juliann (Roger) Nevells, and Joseph E. LaMarra.  Loving grandmother of Christopher Selvoski, Brandon Nevells, Garrett Nevells, and Justin Nevells. Cherished sister of Elaine Anyzek Jones and the late Edmund (the late Barbara) Anyzek, Sr.  Dear aunt of Sheryl Anyzek, Linda (John) Grey, Edmund (Patty) Anyzek, Jr. and Lisa (Christian) Holmes.  Loving grand aunt of Katilynn Spinelli, Brianna Nascimento, Carlie Anyzek, Julia Holmes, Tatem Holmes, Zachary Grey, Joshua Grey, Edmund Anyzek III, Christian Holmes and Keaton Holmes; great aunt of Edmund Spinelli. Niece of the late Florence Misunas and cousin to many.

Maryann (born on February 24, 1940 in Camden, NJ to the late Julia (Narbutits) and Edward S. Anyzek) was an extraordinary pastry chef, mother, grandmother, homemaker and gardener.  She was a graduate of the Camden High School’s Class of 1957 and the Philadelphia Restaurant School Class of 1990. Over the years Maryann was a leader in gathering her classmates together through the Class of 1957 Reunion Committee. As the owner of Desserts a La Carte, she was known for her many baked goods and her holiday cookie trays. Maryann took pride in her flowering garden and cherished her time with her family and many lifetime friends.    

Relatives and friends of the family will meet for her viewings on Sunday evening, February 23rd, from 7:00 to 9:00pm and Monday morning, February 24th from 9:15am to 10:15am all at the BOCCO FUNERAL HOME, 1300 North Kings Hwy, Cherry Hill, NJ. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday 11:00am at the Holy Eucharist R.C. Church, 344 Kresson Rd., Cherry Hill, NJ. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Chews Landing, NJ.
