Ofelia Ulita Aquino

Ofelia Ulita Aquino, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, peacefully passed away on May 19, 2025 at the age of 77. Born in Abulug, Philippines on December 11, 1947 to the late Melecio and late Maxima Ulita, she was a cherished member of the family. She was a loving wife to Emilio Aquino, Sr. and a devoted mother to Emilio (Agripina) Aquino, Jr., Mae (Marc) Nicolas, Sherwin (Racquel) Aquino, and Lemuel Ulita, a loving grandmother of Marcelle, Earvin, Celine, Alexis, Justin, Kyle, JL, EJ, Xyhrl, Kyth, Mica, Gianna, and RJ, a great grandmother of Ryzza, Ruiz, Rihanna, and Ja-jay. She is also survived by her siblings Melchor Ulita (D), Virginia Siobal, Henry Ulita (D), Erlinda Ulita (D), Dahlia Ulita, Edna Ulita (D), Rudolfo Ulita, and Marites Lund.

Ofelia Aquino will be remembered for her caring, warmth, kindness, and strength. Ofelia migrated to the US with her husband in 1995 and was lucky to be here because she needed an open-heart surgery. She was a fighter and survived all the procedures they had done for her. She then worked at a mailing house where she found friends and then she eventually retired and took care of her family.

She found joy in spending time with family, gardening, playing Mahjong, and watching her Filipino soap operas. She also loved to cook, and she always made sure everyone was well fed. Everyone loved her karyoka, biko, pancit, bamboo shoots, dinengdeng and many other Filipino delicacies/foods that everyone asked her to cook.

She was a blessing to all that knew her because she always had so much love for everyone and always made everyone feel like family from the day that she met them. Her little giggles and stories will be missed. It gives our family comfort to know that she is at peace now and reunited with her parents, two brothers, and two sisters, but to say she will be missed is an understatement.

Relatives and friends of the family will meet for her viewings on Sunday afternoon, May 25th, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and Wednesday afternoon, May 28th from 2:00pm to 4:00pm all at the BOCCO FUNERAL HOME, 1300 North Kings Hwy, Cherry Hill, NJ. Funeral services will be conducted 4:00pm Wednesday afternoon in the funeral home.
