Paul R. Rilatt, Jr.

Paul R. Rilatt, Jr. on June 5, 2025 passed away peacefully at the age 84 of Bellmawr, NJ formerly of Barrington, NJ and Camden, NJ.  Beloved father of Tina (Michael) Bartholomew, Stephen Rilatt and Danielle (William) Bauwens. Dear grandfather of John Bauwens, Angela Rilatt, Michael (Rachael) Bauwens, Erica (Alex) Young, Joseph (Laura) Rilatt, Alyssa Bartholomew, Adam Bartholomew, Anna Bartholomew and Ava Bartholomew. Loving great-grandfather of 6.

Paul was a retired funeral director and was President of the New Jersey State Funeral Director’s Association in 1985. Paul also served as a Medical Investigator for 10 years with the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office. He was a proud graduate of Bishop Eustace Preparatory School (1958),St Francis College and Eckels College. He was an extremely active member of the Barrington Lions Club along with volunteering for the Barrington ambulance and fire company. His passion was boating and enjoyed many years Captaining his boats. Paul lived a very full life even in his retirement. Whether it was working at the cathedral in Saint Petersburg Beach or in his later years for the diocese of Camden. He will be greatly missed.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to his viewing and funeral on Saturday,  June 14th from 10:00AM to 11:00AM in the BOCCO FUNERAL HOME, 1300 North Kings Hwy., Cherry Hill, NJ 08034. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00AM Saturday in the funeral home. Entombment held privately. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations in Paul’s memory to the Gift of Life Donor Program, 401 N. 3rd St., Phila., PA 19123(www.donors1.org).
