Raymond E. Klie

Raymond E. Klie, 82, of Cherry Hill, NJ passed away peacefully on March 25, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on May 12, 1943, in Jersey City, NJ to Herbert and Martel Klie, Raymond spent 28 years as a Police Officer for the Port Authority of NY and NJ. He was known above all for his faith in his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was an accomplished boxer, avid hunter, dog trainer, and passionate golfer. Ray’s love for his family and sense of humor is deeply missed.

Raymond is survived by his loving wife Penny Klie (nee Popyk), children Nicole (Chad) Anderson, Lori (Dan) Mueller and Daniel (Kaylin) Klie, grandchildren Tyler Anderson, Kelly (Grant) Gombert, Riley Anderson, Caeden Mueller, Grayson Mueller, Zander Klie, Quinn Mueller, and August Klie, great grandchild Adeline, siblings Carol Ann O’Byrne and Thomas Klie. He was preceded in death by his brothers Martin Klie and Herbert Klie.

A service of remembrance will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at Bocco Funeral Home, 1300 North Kings Hwy, Cherry Hill, NJ, 08034. Friends and family are invited to the visitation from 9:00AM to 9:45AM followed by the Celebration of Life service at 10:00AM.
