Slobodian Dear sister of Jo-Ann (Ken) Belanger of North Wales, PA, Joseph (Diane) Lyford, III of Roxboro, NC and Teresa (Eldon) Parks of Morrisdale, PA. Cherished step-mother of Stephen A. (Roxolana) Slobodian, MD of Pensacola, FL, Markian R. (Richard Holloway) Slobodian, Esq. of Camp Hill, PA and Larysa S. Slobodian of Seattle, WA. Loving grandmother of Lucas P. (Victoria) Slobodian, Lydia N. (Efi Hackmey) Slobodian, Alexandra Slobodian and Sophia Slobodian; great-grandmother of four and great-great-grandmother of one. Dear aunt of Brianna (Lance) Kolesar, Kenny (Gitte) Belanger, Kim (Chuck Chandler) Lyford, Joseph (Tiffany) Lyford, IV, Ryanne Lyford and the late Danielle Lyford; Aunt of 14 great nieces and nephews who she considered her grandchildren.
Rosanna graduated from Camden Catholic High School and from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh with a degree in Pharmacy. She started her career at Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia and went on to become director of pharmacy at West Jersey Hospital in Camden. Then she worked for over 20 years at Simirex/Quintiles in Mount Laurel. She was an active member of St. Pius X (Holy Eucharist) Church in Cherry Hill. She was president of the Altar and Rosary Society for many years and organized many events and fundraisers for the church. She loved to cook and bake, especially Christmas Cookies. She was in charge of the Cucina Italiana (Italian Kitchen) at the Little Servant Sisters’ Country Fair – Festival for many years and enjoyed planning large dinner parties and organizing cruises. She loved to travel and was a Phillies baseball fan. She crocheted baby blankets and prayer shawls and was an avid reader of the newspaper and cooking magazines. Rosanna loved being with family and treated her nieces and nephews like grandchildren.
Relatives and friends of the family will meet for her viewing and funeral on Monday morning, November 24th from 10:00AM to 11:00AM at Holy Eucharist Catholic Church, 344 Kresson Rd., Cherry Hill, NJ. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00AM Monday morning. Interment Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions to Holy Eucharist R.C.
