Theresa F. Pawlowski (nee Gabrylewicz) on March 6, 2026, age 87, of Cherry Hill, NJ. Beloved wife of Ronald J. Pawlowski. Extraordinary mother of Angela Pawlowski (David Olejnik). Exceedingly proud Babcia of Michael (The Puczek) Olejnik. Cherished sister of Florence Perhai (Roger). Predeceased by her siblings Raymond Gabrylewicz (the late Joan), Dorothy Sherman and Dolores Gabrylewicz, and her niece, Kimberly Justice. Also loving Ciocia to nephews Matthew Sherman, Robert Sherman, Joseph Gabrylewicz and Ken Gabrylewicz.
Theresa was born in Camden, NJ to parents Joseph and Helen (Poreda) Gabrylewicz, and graduated from St. Joseph’s High School in South Camden, where she earned many lead singing and acting roles in operettas. Her vocal superpower was further nurtured as she joined the St. Lucia Choir as a soloist at St. Joseph’s Polish Catholic Church, for nearly 70 years. Singing for many Masses, weddings, funerals and banquets, Theresa also lovingly provided her signature ‘sound track’ for countless family events. Upon moving to Cherry Hill in 1967, she became a long-standing member of the Holy Eucharist Church Choir. Professionally, Theresa was a Teacher’s Aid and then an Administrative Assistant in the Cherry Hill Public School System, retiring in 2001 as the Administrative Assistant to the Vice Principle of Cherry Hill High School East. Theresa was exceedingly proud of her Polish heritage, and supported many Polish Fairs sponsored by the Little Servant Sisters of the Immaculate Conception, as well as their Blessed Edmund Daycare Center in Cherry Hill, NJ, and also St. Joseph’s Polish Catholic Church and historic site in South Camden. She and husband Ronald actively spoke Polish together throughout their 65 years of marriage, and Theresa educated The Puczek in key Polish words and phrases, to pass along her family heritage and to keep Polish traditions alive.
