Vincent Rodgers

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Vincent Rodgers, age 94 of Mount Laurel, NJ on November 13, 2025. Devoted husband, loving father, and cherished grandfather, he passed peacefully surrounded by his family. 

He will be dearly missed by his beloved wife of 71 years, Gloria Rodgers (nee DelMoro) and dear father of Gail Rodgers, Richard Rodgers (Catharine), Patricia Rodgers (Thomas Gavan) and Stephan Rodgers (Helen) as well as loving grandfather of Melissa, Stephanie, Vincent, Angela and Maria Rodgers and Daniel Gavan, many treasured great-grandchildren and his cherished brother, Raymond Rodgers (Judy). 

Vince enjoyed all outdoor activities and spent his free time sharing his many interests with family, friends and neighbors. His hobbies included boating, golfing, fishing, water and snow skiing, scuba diving, and camping. An avid reader, gardener and photographer, he taught and coached many and was happy to share his knowledge and talents with everyone he knew. He was especially gratified to build a vacation home in the Pocono Mountains for his family that was enjoyed for years by relatives and friends. He was hardworking and dedicated, always making time to help others in any way he could and touched so many lives.

Vince was a proud member of the Electrical Union with IBEW Locals 592/351 and recently received his 60 Year Service Award.

After retiring in 1993, Vince and Gloria spent the winter months in Las Vegas traveling to many National Parks out West. 

We love you so much. Rest in peace.

Per his wishes, there will be no public viewing or visitation.

Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral Mass on Wednesday, November 19th at 10:30am at St. John Neumann R.C. Church, 560 Walton Ave, Mt. Laurel, NJ 08054. Please arrive at the Church by 10:15am Wednesday.  Arr. by Bocco Funeral Home, Cherry Hill.
