Yanick Boucicaut

Yanick Boucicaut (nee Borgella) of Philadelphia, PA and formerly Queens, NY went to be with the Lord on May 31, 2023, at the age of 68. Yanick was born on December 28, 1954, to Marianne Jacques & Nathan Borgella in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Yanick was born and raised a devoted Catholic.

Yanick graduated in 1974 from Germantown High School in Philadelphia. She was awarded for successfully completing John Robert Powers Modeling & Fashion Charm School. Later she furthered her education through Hunter College in New York City, NY.

As a talented young woman, she pursued her dreams in modeling with the prestigious Wilhelmina Modeling Agency in New York. Yanick’s favorite pass-time included gardening, experiencing new restaurants, and traveling with family and close friends.

Yanick was a caring mother to Contessa; loving grandmother to Brandon and Bryan, a cherished sister to Sergo Flavien, Arnel Borgella, Jean-Claude Jacques, and the late Maritha Jacques. She leaves behind Godchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, close family, and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
